The Caminhos do Cinema Português festival, which takes place in Coimbra (Portugal) from November 16th to 23rd, is celebrating its 30th edition this year.
This year, the festival presents the short films ‘Percebes’ (Alexandra Ramires/Laura Gonçalves, 2024, Portugal/France, ANI/DOC, 11′), ‘Bad For a Moment’ (Daniel Soares, 2024, Portugal, FIC, 15′), ‘Three Comma Fourteen’ (Joana Nogueira/PatríciaRodrigues, 2024, Portugal, ANI/DOC, 12′), 'Slimane' (Carlos Pereira, 2023, Germany, FIC, 19′), 'It Shouldn't Rain Tomorrow' (Maria Trigo Teixeira, 2024, Portugal/Germany, ANI 11′), and 'Combat' (Rita M. Pestana, 2023, Brazil/Portugal, FIC, 23') in its Caminhos selection. The Outros Olhares selection includes the films ‘The Convent Gardener’ (Patrícia Neves Gomes, 2023, Portugal, FIC, 15′) and ‘Sulfur’ (Miguel Seabra Lopes/Karen Akerman, 2024, Brazil/Portugal, EXP/FIC, 14′).
