Patrícia Neves Gomes

Biography

Born in Porto in 1994. Studied photography with her grandfather since she was a child and cinema in high school, where she directed her first school film, presented in several national film festivals and exhibitions. In college continued her film studies specialising in documentary filmmaking and later in art curatorship. She worked in theatre, dance and performance with projects in TNSJ, MAAT and names like Vasco Araújo, Vera Mantero, Olga Roriz, Tânia Carvalho, Victor Hugo Pontes, Jonas & Lander, among others. In cinema has worked on festival productions (IndieLisboa and LEFFEST) and short films ("Ruby" by Mariana Gaivão or "Body Buildings" by Henrique Pina), feature films ("Vadio" by Simão Cayatte) and series ("Casa Abrigo" by Márcio Laranjeira).
