The short films directed by Alexandra Ramires, Laura Gonçalves, Maria Inês Gonçalves and Alexandre Sousa were officially selected for the Hong Kong International Film Festival.
Three short films from Agência – Portuguese Short Film Agency have been selected for the official selection of the Hong Kong International Film Festival: ‘Percebes’ (Alexandra Ramires, Laura Gonçalves, 2024, Portugal / France, ANI / DOC, 11′), ‘Amarelo Banana’ (Alexandre Sousa, 2025, Portugal / Hungary, ANI, 13′), and ‘La Durmiente’ (Maria Inês Gonçalves, 2025, Portugal / Spain, DOC / FIC, 20′).
Alexandra Ramires and Laura Gonçalves animated film will be presented in the “World Animation” section, while Alexandre Sousa's will have its Asian premiere as part of the “World Animation for Adults” section. Additionally, Maria Inês Gonçalves' fiction will also make its Asian debut in the first program of the festival's short film competition.
This major event, which is celebrating its 49th edition this year, will take place between April 10th and 21st in Hong Kong, China.
