The films directed by Marta Reis Andrade, Alexandre Sousa, Miguel Seabra Lopes, Karen Akerman and Mário Macedo are part of the official selection of CineEco – Serra da Estrela International Environmental Film Festival.
The short films “Dog Alone” (Marta Reis Andrade, 2025, Portugal / France, ANI, 13′), “Amarelo Banana” (Alexandre Sousa, 2025, Portugal / Hungary, ANI, 13′) and “Sulfur” (Miguel Seabra Lopes, Karen Akerman, 2024, Portugal / Brazil, EXP / FIC, 14′) were selected for the Portuguese Language Short and Medium-Length Film Competition at CineEco – Serra da Estrela International Environmental Film Festival. In the International Short and Medium-Length Film Competition, the festival will also feature the screening of “That’s How I Love You” (2024, Croatia / Portugal, FIC, 18′), directed by Mário Macedo.
Recognized as one of the main environmental film platforms in Portugal, CineEco celebrates its 31st edition this year, which will take place between October 10th and 18th, in the city of Seia.
