Maureen Fazendeiro's short film is set to have its Mexican premiere at FICUNAM - Festival Internacional de Cine UNAM.
Titled “Les Habitants” (Maureen Fazendeiro, 2025, Portugal/France, DOC/FIC, 42'), the film will be showcased in the International Competition during the FICUNAM's 15th edition.
In “Les Habitants", Fazendeiro explores the dynamics of a commuter town in the Paris suburbs, focusing on how daily life has been affected by the establishment of a gypsy camp on previously abandoned land.
The 15th edition of FICUNAM will take place from May 29th to June 6th in Mexico City.
