'Shimmering Bodies' (Portugal, FIC, 23′), by Inês Teixeira, has been selected for the 53rd edition of the New Directors/New Films festival, which will take place in New York from April 3rd to 14th, 2024. Produced by João Matos (TERRATREME FILMES), the film follows the interaction between two young people in Leiria.
Founded in 1972, the New Directors/New Film festival is curated jointly by MoMa and Film at Lincoln Center, and its main mission is to make films by emerging directors from around the world known to local audiences.
