Biography
Cristiano Mourato was born Lisbon – 1986. Inspired by poetic characteristic of portuguese animation, he begun his studies in the field in CITEN - Calouste Gulbenkian Fundation in 2004. His portfolio have several short-films awarded in several countries like, Korea, Uruguay, Gerogia and others. n 2009 he presented his last student film made in ESAD.CR – University of Arts and Design of Caldas da Rainha, named “Smolik”. Apart his indie film production, he is very pleased to give workshops to children, and give classes in the university that he graduated. At the moment he is doing an advanced character animation course on iAnimate.net, an online school based in California, with talented instructors from the big US animation industry like DreamWorks and ILM.
