
Biography
Manuel Mozos was born in 1959 in Lisbon. He studied History and Philosophy before enrolling in the School of Theatre and Cinema, where he specialized as an editor. In 1989, he directed his first film Um Passo, Outro Passo e Depois... After Xavier (1991), his first feature film, he divided his time between fiction and documentary, where he created an important work of reflection about the history of Portuguese Cinema and the city of Lisbon. He is one of the most important Portuguese directors of his generation.
