Four films distributed by the Agência were selected to be part of the Short Film Competition and the Portuguese Competition of the 20th edition of MONSTRA - Lisbon Animation Festival.
The animations "The Girl Who Stood Still", by Joana Toste (Sardinha em Lata Lda.); "Altötting", by Andreas Hykade (Ciclope Filmes, ONF/NFB, Studio Film Bilder); "Tie", by Alexandra Ramires (Bando à Parte, Providences) and "Anyhow, Anyway", by Catarina Romano (AIM · Estúdios de Animação) were selected for the 20th edition of MONSTRA - Lisbon Animation Festival, which will take place between 21st July and August 1st. The short films by Joana Toste, Alexandra Ramires and Catarina Romano are part of the Short Film Competition (which also includes "Altötting") and the Portuguese Competition (SPA / Vasco Granja Award).
"The Girl Who Stood Still" will have its national premiere at the festival which, since 2000, has as its main mission to celebrate artistic transversality, promoting the meeting between people of different arts and transmitting new aesthetic looks, using the language of Animation Cinema as a basis.
