The Tampere Film Festival, renowned for its focus on innovative cinema, has selected two portuguese short films for its official selection. The animated documentary 'Percebes' (directed by Alexandra Ramires and Laura Gonçalves) will make its Finnish debut in the festival's international competition. This film originates from a collaboration between Portugal and France and has a runtime of 11 minutes.
Additionally, the fiction film “That's How I Love You", directed by Mário Macedo, has been chosen to be featured in a special program titled Radical Care. This film, which runs for 18 minutes, represents a collaboration between Croatia and Portugal. The festival will take place in Tampere, Finland, celebrating its 55th edition from March 5th to 9th, 2025. The Radical Care program will include two screenings of short films followed by a debate organized by the Democracy Research Network.
