Inês Lima's experimental film, is set to make its UK premiere at the Berwick Film and Media Arts Festival.
The short film ‘The Moving Garden’ (Inês Lima, 2024, Portugal, EXP/FIC, 19′) has been shortlisted for the New Cinema Awards during the 20th edition of the Berwick Film and Media Arts Festival, taking place from March 27th to 30th in Berwick-upon-Tweed, England.
The film follows a group of hikers who, accompanied by two botanical guides, embark on a journey through the stunning landscapes of the Arrábida Natural Park. As they explore the diverse species of this ecosystem, they observe a disturbing transformation of this place, not by the natural course of time, but by the orchestrated appropriation of human presence.
